Allt Creag Phàdruig – means burn of patrick's rock
Allt Leth-allt - meaning burn of the half slope is a reference to the west bank of the burn being significantly steeper than the east bank, and apparently giving its name to the corrie above. Coire Allt Leth-allt - means corrie of burn of half slope
Dail a’ Mhorair Bheag – means little haugh of the nobleman - the farm (ruins) taking its name from the 'smallest part' of the haugh on which it stands
Allt nan Leum Easain - means burn of waterfall leaps
