Cairnwell - is a pass on the A93 between between Gleann Beag in Perthshire, and Glen Clunie in Aberdeenshire.

The summit, standing at 2,199 ft., marks the boundary between Perthshire, and Aberdeenshire as well as the southern boundary of the Cairngorms National Park.

This video shows the pass on the 21st of August 2007 just 'over the top' in Aberdeenshire on a day of low cloud.  The clouds, driven by a steady wind from the north, are pushed south brushing the top of the pass.
