In this episode Tom Weir visits the upland of Mar (Braes O' Mar) beginning in Glen Quoich at the Earl of Mar's Punch Bowl while discussing the beginnings of the Jacobite Rising of 1715.  He then goes on to the farm of An Dubh-bhruach in Gleann Dhé while discussing the aftermath of the Jacobite Rising of 1745 and the murder of Sergeant Arthur Davies who was stationed there in 1749.

There are some nice aerial views of both Gleann Dhé (above Linn of Dee) and Strath Dee (below Linn of Dee) and a nice piece shot at the Linn of Dee.
