An Glas Allt Mór FootbridgeAn Glas Allt Mór Footbridge - 22nd July 2009

An Glas Allt Mór Footbridge is the (ruined) footbridge over An Glas Allt Mór in upper Gleann Doire.

An Glas Allt Mór Footbridge was one of three footbridges in the Cairngorms paid for by the Nature Conservancy, and designed by George Taylor of the Cairngorm Club, and Aberdeen University.  Pre-fabricated - the parts, and materials were brought in by helicopter, and erected by volunteers in 1959.

The footbridge stood a short distance upstream of the ford through the burn, and the remaining, cemented abutments are still evident on the banks of the burn.
